Career includes real estate and financial services. Last 30 years in Mortgage Banking. Positions include loan sales, marketing, middle and upper management, secondary marketing, retail and wholesale lending, and ownership of 2 brokerage firms.
Wife Kim has been in Arizona for 15+ years via Chicago and San Diego. She works full time trying to manage me and 4 children… just managing me is a full time job ;-) Kim’s background is mortgage banking and marketing as well. She is my right arm in our business ventures and internet marketing and manages for Starbucks.
We recently made the decision to expand our own lending practices and focus our mortgage lending experience on becoming consumer watchdogs and writing our first two books: Lenders Are Liars: Confessions of a Mortgage Banker; and a private label version for financial services and real estate professionals: Mortgage Manifesto: 17 Insider Secrets and Strategies Guaranteed to Slash Your Interest Rates and Cut Your Closing Costs in Half.
We are both ‘professional students’ of marketing with passions for consulting in the arena of internet marketing, direct marketing, and copywriting.
Aside from our writing and marketing businesses, we have a line of novelty products and a series of books in various stages of writing, prototype and licensing. These products have been created specifically as fundraising vehicles, with a goal of giving the first one million dollars in profits to specified children’s charities. (each product requires licensing agreements with professional sports, including NASCAR, NFL, NBA, MLB and PGA. Thus far we have been unable to secure licensing, even in light of the children’s charities and fundraising goals). We hope to launch these early in 2009.
Personally, we enjoy tropical vacations, physical fitness, racquetball and golf, NASCAR, adult and children’s ministry(s), sharing our faith,
